Five or more years of engineering experience includes at least four years in Infrastructure, Platform, or Developer Experience roles. Deep expertise in build systems such as Bazel, Buck, Pants, or Gradle covers operating large-scale monorepos and related workflows. Experience optimizing CI/CD and building developer tooling at scale designs reliable, high-performance distributed systems for demanding environments. Hands-on proficiency with AWS, CI platforms like Buildkite, Infrastructure as Code, and strong coding skills in Go, TypeScript, Python, or Ruby is required for implementing and maintaining platforms. A track record of technical leadership sets direction, drives cross-team initiatives, and communicates effectively across a wide range of stakeholders to ensure alignment.
Nice to have
Experience migrating large codebases to modern build systems, especially Bazel, further strengthens platform foundations and supports long-term scalability.
