About the role
The Strategic Finance team manages Figma's financial planning, resource allocation, and business analysis to solve critical company challenges. You will gain deep visibility into business operations while partnering with leadership to drive decision-making and scale financial processes. We are currently hiring for multiple positions across our Go-To-Market, Corporate, and Growth finance functions. In this capacity, you will be responsible for owning the end-to-end financial narrative for the business, translating complex operational data into clear strategies for the executive team. You will act as a key partner to the C-suite, ensuring that all financial decisions are backed by rigorous analysis and aligned with long-term corporate objectives. The role requires a high degree of ownership over the budgeting cycle, the forecasting model, and the integrity of the data that drives the company's strategy. You will be instrumental in building the frameworks that enable the business to measure success and manage risk effectively. This is a pivotal role for someone who wants to shape the financial infrastructure of a leading design platform.

What you'll do
- Define and monitor key performance indicators to track business performance and support strategic growth initiatives.
- Create and maintain financial models for monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts and operating plans.
- Synthesize data in collaboration with cross-functional teams to provide insights for executive leadership.
- Manage and refine core financial processes to ensure efficiency and scalability in supporting company operations.
- Partner with Data Science and RevOps to enhance the accuracy of ARR data and the reliability of forecasting models.
- Translate complex financial findings into clear recommendations for the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Marketing Officer, and Chief Revenue Officer.
- Leverage AI-driven tools to automate repetitive workflows and significantly increase the speed of financial operations.
- Scale financial rhythms and methodologies as the company expands into new markets and segments.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to functional leaders, guiding them on financial implications for major initiatives.
- Own the documentation of financial policies to ensure compliance and consistency across the organization.
- Drive variance analysis to understand deviations from plan and provide actionable insights for course correction.
- Contribute to the development of pricing strategies by analyzing market data and customer behavior patterns.
- Ensure the integrity of financial reporting by validating data sources and implementing robust controls.
- Support the evaluation of new business opportunities by conducting thorough financial due diligence and scenario planning.
- Establish best practices for financial operations that can be replicated across the business as the company scales.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in strategic finance, investment banking, private equity, Big 4 audit, or business operations.
- Demonstrated ability to build financial plans from scratch and perform sophisticated data-driven analysis.
- Proven experience creating financial processes and systems where none previously existed to transform complex data into actionable plans.
- Exceptional independent problem-solving skills and the capacity to manage multiple priorities under strict deadlines.
- Strong track record of communicating effectively and building productive partnerships with stakeholders at all levels of a large organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field is required.
- Proficiency in spreadsheet modeling and a deep understanding of financial statement mechanics are mandatory.
- Eligibility to work in the United States is required without sponsorship for this role.

- Prior experience working in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment, specifically within the Go-To-Market finance function.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience using AI tools to manage, manipulate, and analyze large datasets.
