About the role
Figma is seeking an engineering leader to guide the Billing group, which manages revenue workflows and payment infrastructure for our global customer base. You will oversee the development of critical systems including checkout, invoicing, subscription management, and pricing models to support the company's continued growth. What you'll do
- Collaborate with Product and Design to define and implement long-term roadmaps for user experience in the billing domain.
- Solve technical challenges by working across engineering teams and cross-functional partners to unblock critical payment workflows.

Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in engineering management and hiring for software engineering teams.
- Strategic planning skills for both short and long-term product and engineering roadmaps in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to make effective decisions in complex, cross-functional environments with incomplete information and competing priorities.
- Direct experience with payments infrastructure, SaaS monetization, or billing systems in a production environment.
- Demonstrated success in building and managing high-performing engineering teams across multiple product areas.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with agile development processes and delivery frameworks in a SaaS or enterprise context.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of code quality, security, and operational excellence.
