Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications in fiber optics is a plus.
- At least 2 years of experience in fiber optic installation, inspection, or a related field.
- Familiarity with fiber optic technologies, including splicing, termination, and testing methods.
- Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices related to outside plant installations.
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail to identify potential issues during inspections.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to document findings and collaborate with team members.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment, including OTDRs, power meters, and visual fault locators.
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites as needed.
