This role is based on-site at our San Francisco office, with a focus on developing and managing our GTM systems infrastructure. The position involves working within a collaborative engineering environment, leveraging a variety of modern tools and platforms to build scalable automation solutions. What you'll do
- Develop, deploy, and maintain AI agents and automated workflows that support key sales functions such as lead scoring, account enrichment, outbound sequencing, and deal support. Your work will help automate repetitive tasks, freeing up sales teams to focus on high-value activities.
- Manage and expand our Salesforce architecture, ensuring it remains robust, secure, and aligned with business needs. You will implement new features, optimize existing configurations, and troubleshoot issues to maintain system health.
- Oversee security, reliability, and audit standards within our Salesforce environment and DevOps practices to ensure compliance and data integrity. This includes implementing best practices for data security and system monitoring.
- Collaborate with the Product and Analytics Engineering (PAE) team to integrate data signals from Snowflake, Hightouch, Fivetran, and Airflow into automated GTM actions. This integration enables real-time data-driven decision-making and enhances automation workflows.
- Work closely with Sales, Success, Revenue Operations, and Program Management teams to identify automation opportunities that can improve efficiency and accuracy. You will translate business needs into technical solutions and oversee their implementation from concept to production.
- Establish and maintain monitoring, evaluation frameworks, and guardrails to ensure AI outputs are observable, measurable, and aligned with business metrics. This includes setting up dashboards, alerts, and logging to track system performance.
- Define internal standards for data quality, AI usage, and automation within our GTM operations. You will create documentation and best practices to ensure consistency and high standards across the organization.
- Research emerging AI and automation technologies, evaluate their applicability, and integrate promising solutions into our existing stack. Your innovation will help keep our systems at the forefront of technological advancements.
- Provide technical guidance and support to other engineering teams and stakeholders, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
- Participate in code reviews, system testing, and deployment processes to ensure high-quality deliverables. You will also contribute to documentation and training materials for internal teams.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and new tools related to AI, automation, and GTM systems to continuously enhance our capabilities.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience building integrations, automation, or tooling within GTM, Revenue Operations, or Business Systems. Your background should demonstrate a strong understanding of sales and marketing technology stacks.
- Proficiency in Salesforce, including declarative configuration, Apex programming, SOQL queries, and DevOps practices. You should be comfortable managing complex Salesforce environments and implementing custom solutions.
- Experience working with modern GTM stack tools such as ETL, Reverse ETL, Snowflake, Clay, Gong, and GitHub. Familiarity with these tools is essential for integrating and automating data flows.
- Hands-on experience with iPaaS or agent-builder platforms like Workato, Zapier, or n8n. These platforms are critical for building scalable automation workflows and integrating disparate systems.
- Practical knowledge of AI tooling, including large language model (LLM) APIs, orchestration frameworks, and prompt engineering techniques. You should understand how to leverage AI models to automate and enhance business processes.
- Ability to write, debug, and optimize pipelines using Python or SQL. Strong scripting skills are necessary for developing custom integrations and data processing workflows.
- Excellent written communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts to both engineering teams and business stakeholders. You will be responsible for documenting systems, processes, and best practices.
- Experience working in a collaborative environment, with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A proactive mindset with a strong problem-solving ability, capable of identifying issues and implementing effective solutions quickly.
- Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards relevant to enterprise systems.
Nice to have
- Experience with business intelligence (BI) tools, such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI, and data warehousing solutions like dbt and other data modeling tools.
- Background in building or extending MCP servers and agent frameworks, which can be beneficial for developing custom automation solutions.
- Ability to develop simple internal interfaces or applications tailored for sales and operations teams to improve usability and adoption of automation tools.
- Knowledge of ITAR regulations or experience working with sensitive or regulated data environments.
- Prior experience in a high-growth startup environment, demonstrating adaptability and the ability to scale systems quickly.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure management, including experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure, to support scalable deployment of automation solutions.
