What you'll do

• Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure solutions that support our payment processing services.
• Automate deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines to enhance efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of development and operational processes.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability of services.
• Develop and maintain configuration management systems to streamline infrastructure management.
• Implement security best practices across all environments to safeguard sensitive data and maintain compliance.
• Conduct regular system audits and performance tuning to optimize resource utilization and cost-effectiveness.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Engage in incident response planning and execution, ensuring rapid recovery from service disruptions.
• Document processes, architectures, and configurations to maintain a comprehensive knowledge base.
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide support during off-hours as needed.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our DevOps practices.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a DevOps or related role, with a strong focus on cloud infrastructure.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby for automation tasks.
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including services like EC2, S3, and Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of containerization technologies, particularly Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or similar.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• A proactive attitude towards learning and adapting to new technologies and methodologies.

Nice to have

• Experience with serverless architectures and microservices design patterns.
• Knowledge of database management systems, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
• Previous experience in the fintech or payment processing industry is a plus.
• Relevant certifications, such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Google Professional DevOps Engineer.
