What you'll do

Design and implement user-friendly interfaces for web applications, ensuring a seamless experience across various devices and browsers.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and mockups into functional web applications, adhering to best practices in design and usability.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using modern JavaScript frameworks, such as React or Vue.js, to build interactive features.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to identify and resolve issues before deployment.
Work closely with back-end developers to integrate APIs and other services, ensuring smooth data flow and functionality.
Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and contributing to the overall improvement of the codebase.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Contribute to the development of internal tools and libraries to improve the efficiency of the development process.
Assist in the documentation of code, processes, and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
Engage in agile development practices, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to foster a collaborative team environment.
Mentor junior developers, sharing your expertise and helping them grow in their roles.

Requirements

A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in front-end development, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a deep understanding of modern web standards and best practices.
Experience with at least one major JavaScript framework, such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git, and an understanding of collaborative development workflows.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
A passion for creating exceptional user experiences and a keen eye for detail in design and functionality.

Nice to have

Experience with TypeScript or other typed languages, enhancing code quality and maintainability.
Knowledge of responsive design principles and frameworks, such as Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS.
Familiarity with performance optimization techniques and tools, such as Lighthouse or WebPageTest.
Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices to ensure inclusivity in web applications.
Previous experience in the event management or related industries, providing context for user needs and challenges.

Skills & tools

Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
Experienced with front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Familiar with CSS preprocessors such as SASS or LESS.
Knowledge of build tools and task runners, such as Webpack, Gulp, or Grunt.
Understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
Familiarity with testing frameworks and tools, such as Jest or Mocha.
