Key facts
What you'll do
- Collaborate with senior product owners and stakeholders to gather and define product requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Assist in creating and maintaining a prioritized product backlog, ensuring that tasks are clearly defined and actionable for the development team.
- Participate in sprint planning meetings, providing input on user stories and acceptance criteria to facilitate efficient development cycles.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities for product improvement and innovation.
- Help develop user personas and journey maps to better understand customer needs and enhance product features.
- Work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure that product designs align with user expectations and usability standards.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring that everyone is informed and aligned throughout the product development process.
- Assist in the preparation of product demos and presentations for stakeholders, showcasing new features and enhancements.
- Monitor product performance metrics and user feedback, using this data to inform future product iterations and enhancements.
- Participate in retrospectives and continuous improvement initiatives, contributing ideas for enhancing team processes and product quality.
- Support the development of product documentation, including user guides and training materials, to ensure successful product adoption.
- Engage in ongoing learning and professional development opportunities to enhance your product management skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in product management, project management, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in using project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with user experience design principles and methodologies.
- Ability to analyze data and metrics to inform product decisions and improvements.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- A proactive attitude and a willingness to take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to have
- Experience with software development processes and understanding of technical concepts.
- Knowledge of user research methodologies and experience conducting user interviews or surveys.
- Familiarity with data analytics tools such as Google Analytics or similar platforms.
- Previous experience in a startup or technology-focused environment.
- Certification in product management or Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner).
