About the role
Euna is seeking a dedicated AI Security Engineer to join our innovative team in Oakville, Ontario. What you'll do
- Develop and implement security protocols specifically tailored for AI systems to protect against unauthorized access and data breaches.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and vulnerability analyses of AI applications to identify potential security weaknesses.
- Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to integrate security best practices into the AI development lifecycle.
- Monitor and analyze security incidents related to AI technologies, providing timely responses and remediation strategies.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in AI security, applying this knowledge to enhance our security posture.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of security policies, procedures, and incident reports related to AI systems.
- Lead security training sessions for team members to promote awareness of AI security risks and best practices.
- Work closely with compliance teams to ensure that AI systems meet industry regulations and standards regarding data protection and privacy.
- Participate in security audits and assessments, providing insights and recommendations for improving AI security measures.
- Collaborate with external security experts and vendors to evaluate and implement advanced security solutions for AI applications.
- Develop automated security testing tools to continuously assess the security of AI models and algorithms.
- Engage in incident response planning and execution, ensuring that the team is prepared to handle security breaches effectively.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in security engineering, with a focus on AI or machine learning systems.
- Strong understanding of AI technologies, including machine learning frameworks and algorithms.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++, with experience in developing secure code.
- Familiarity with security frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and OWASP.
- Experience with security tools and technologies, including intrusion detection systems, firewalls, and encryption methods.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven track record of successfully managing security projects from inception to completion.
Nice to have
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are a plus.
- Experience with cloud security, particularly in environments like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations, including GDPR and CCPA.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and tools for integrating security into the software development process.
- Experience in threat modeling and security architecture design for AI systems.
Skills & tools
- Proficient in security assessment tools such as Nessus, Burp Suite, or similar.
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of network security principles and practices.
