What you'll do

• Design and develop AI models and systems that address complex business challenges and improve decision-making processes across departments
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define AI requirements and translate them into technical specifications and implementation plans
• Build and train machine learning models using appropriate frameworks, iterating on approaches to maximize performance and accuracy on target tasks
• Conduct thorough data analysis and preprocessing to ensure datasets are clean, well-structured, and suitable for feeding into training pipelines
• Evaluate model outputs using established metrics and benchmarks, then refine algorithms and hyperparameters to achieve measurable improvements over time
• Write production-quality code for data pipelines, model serving infrastructure, and integration layers that connect AI systems to existing applications
• Research emerging AI methodologies and technologies, then assess their potential value and feasibility for adoption within the company's current stack
• Deploy trained models into cloud or on-premise environments, setting up monitoring, logging, and alerting to track model health and drift
• Create clear documentation for all AI components, including model architectures, training methodologies, data schemas, and deployment configurations for team reference
• Participate actively in code reviews, architectural discussions, and sprint planning to ensure AI solutions align with overall engineering standards
• Communicate technical findings, model performance results, and AI strategy recommendations to both engineering peers and business stakeholders effectively
• Support the broader engineering organization by mentoring junior developers and sharing knowledge about best practices in machine learning workflows
• Optimize existing AI systems for scalability, latency, and cost efficiency to ensure reliable performance as usage grows
• Stay current with developments in the AI field by reading research papers, attending workshops, and participating in community events

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, data science, artificial intelligence, or a closely related technical discipline
• Solid foundation in machine learning theory, including supervised and unsupervised learning, neural networks, and optimization techniques
• Strong programming skills in Python or a similar language, with experience building and shipping software in production environments
• Hands-on experience with data wrangling, feature engineering, and working with both structured and unstructured data at scale
• Familiarity with common machine learning frameworks and libraries used for model training, evaluation, and inference tasks
• Understanding of software engineering best practices including version control, testing, code review, and continuous integration workflows
• Ability to work independently on complex problems while also collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams across the organization
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documenting work clearly and presenting technical concepts to diverse audiences
