You will serve as the primary technical contact for executives, administrative staff, finance personnel, and engineering teams, ensuring seamless day-to-day technology operations. Your work will center on resolving helpdesk tickets with speed and accuracy while setting up new equipment and decommissioning old hardware in a secure manner. You will troubleshoot connectivity issues across wired, wireless, and satellite-based environments to maintain reliable access for all users. In this position, you will act as an on-the-ground problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving setting. You will directly impact IT operations by identifying recurring issues and implementing practical fixes that support continuous growth. What you'll do
Perform initial diagnostics for hardware, peripherals, and connectivity issues using structured troubleshooting methodologies.
Configure and deploy workstations, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals while validating security settings and user permissions.
Install, test, and maintain network components, including routers, switches, and access points, to sustain stable local area networks.
Monitor and manage remote connectivity solutions, including virtual private networks and cloud-based access tools, to support offsite users.
Support the setup and integration of communication platforms, collaboration tools, and unified messaging systems for seamless interaction.
Conduct imaging and software deployment on endpoints, applying patches and updates in accordance with company policies and schedules.
Maintain detailed inventory records for IT assets, tracking assignments, disposals, and lifecycle status for audit and planning purposes.
Provide user training and guidance on security best practices, software applications, and hardware functionality to reduce support friction.
Escalate complex technical issues to vendors and internal specialists, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication throughout the process.
Implement and monitor backup solutions, data synchronization tools, and recovery procedures to protect critical business information.
Verify system performance and reliability through testing, benchmarking, and proactive identification of potential bottlenecks or failures.
Assist in coordinating technology projects, including timelines, resource allocation, and cross-functional communication to meet business goals.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to IoT, low Earth orbit systems, and secure communications.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing support metrics, identifying trends, and recommending process enhancements.
Requirements
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent educational credential as the minimum academic qualification.
Demonstrate documented proof of eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship for this role at this time.
Bring prior experience in IT support, technical troubleshooting, or related helpdesk environments, with a track record of resolving incidents.
Show familiarity with hardware components, peripheral devices, and common connectivity standards used in office and field environments.
Exhibit understanding of network fundamentals, including protocols, addressing schemes, and basic security concepts relevant to enterprise systems.
Display competence in using remote support tools, ticketing systems, and diagnostic utilities to investigate and resolve technical issues.
Commit to following established IT processes, change management procedures, and documentation standards to ensure consistency and compliance.
Maintain strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to have
Previous experience in satellite, aerospace, or communications technology environments is preferred.
Familiarity with IoT platforms, device management systems, and secure connectivity architectures is advantageous.
Knowledge of emerging connectivity standards relevant to low Earth orbit and next-generation networks is a plus.
Experience supporting distributed teams or field-based deployments in varied geographic locations is beneficial.
Understanding of data protection regulations and information security best practices is preferred when handling sensitive information.
Practical notes
This is a full-time position based in Arlington, Texas.
On-site presence during regular business hours is required for this role.
