What you'll do
- Lead the design and development of electrical systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, project managers, and clients, to define project specifications and deliverables.
- Conduct thorough analysis and simulations to validate electrical designs, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Prepare detailed documentation, including design specifications, technical reports, and project updates, to communicate progress and findings to stakeholders.
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of electrical systems, providing technical support and troubleshooting as needed.

- Participate in project planning and budgeting, providing insights on electrical system costs and resource allocation.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on system design and implementation.
- Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD, MATLAB, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations applicable to the industry.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Proven experience in project management, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Familiarity with renewable energy systems and sustainable design practices is an advantage.
Nice to have
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain one within a specified timeframe.
- Experience with power distribution systems and control systems design.
- Knowledge of PLC programming and automation systems.
- Familiarity with project management software such as Microsoft Project or similar tools.
- Experience in the oil and gas, manufacturing, or construction industries.
Skills & tools
