GTM - sales
Job description
About the role
Tetriz is an AI Engineering Intelligence platform that helps engineering organizations become AI-native, faster. We measure how AI coding tools like Cursor, Claude Code, and GitHub Copilot are actually used, improve engineer effectiveness through prompt and workflow coaching, and help engineering leaders demonstrate AI ROI with board-ready, defensible insights. You will own and grow commercial activity in India end-to-end, handling pipeline generation, discovery, demos, pilots, and the critical follow-through that turns interest into closed deals. You will build and activate a genuine network of engineering leaders across India's startups, scale-ups, and GCCs, focusing on VP Engineering, CTO, and CPTO roles who actually run engineering rather than IT or procurement. You will work directly with our co-founders on deal strategy, pricing, ICP definition, and positioning, using AI as leverage to research, prospect, and personalize at a scale a small team could not achieve manually. You will feed market intelligence back into our product, turning early customer conversations into actionable product insights that shape what we build next and turn early customers into vocal advocates. The first ten logos you own will matter more than the next hundred, and your work will establish the India-based pipeline and intelligence engine that supports our North America motion as it scales.
Key facts
What you'll do
Drive commercial activity in India end-to-end, owning pipeline generation, discovery calls, demos, pilots, and the critical follow-through that converts interest into closed revenue.
Build and activate a genuine network of engineering leaders across India's startups, scale-ups, and GCCs, targeting VP Engineering, CTO, and CPTO roles who actually run engineering.
Establish real relationships in the developer tooling community, showing up where engineering leaders gather through meetups, forums, and the broader conversation on developer productivity.
Collaborate directly with our co-founders on deal strategy, pricing, ICP definition, and market positioning to ensure our motion is clear, defensible, and compelling to engineering leaders.
Use AI as leverage, deploying LLMs and Clay-style workflows to research accounts, personalize outreach, and scale prospecting in a way that would be impossible for a small team to replicate manually.
Feed market intelligence back into our product and roadmap, capturing buyer objections, shifting requirements, and unmet needs to guide what we build next and turn early customers into advocates.
Operate with urgency and ownership in a fast-moving environment, spotting what is working, doubling down on high-conversion activities, and scaling the pipeline without waiting for direction.
Maintain fluency in how engineering teams actually work, holding credible conversations about developer productivity, delivery metrics, and platform engineering without pretending to be a practitioner.
Be the primary point of contact for Indian customers, owning the entire commercial journey from first touch through renewal and expansion within your portfolio.
Set and hit demanding targets for meetings booked, pipeline generated, and deals closed, using data to iterate on messaging, targeting, and playbooks.
Contribute to the broader GTM motion by providing feedback on positioning, packaging, and buyer personas that can be used across regions as we scale internationally.
Balance independent execution with close collaboration, working hand-in-hand with our North America motion to ensure alignment on messaging, ICP, and go-to-market assumptions.
Act as the de facto market intelligence hub in India, translating qualitative conversations into structured insights that inform product, marketing, and sales decisions.
Demonstrate comfort with ambiguity and move fast in an early-stage environment where processes are minimal and outcomes depend on initiative and judgment.
Requirements
You have 3-5 years of B2B SaaS experience with meaningful exposure to selling into or generating pipeline for engineering leadership, specifically VP Engineering, CTO, or CPTO roles.
Your background is in driving pipeline from scratch, with a track record of quota attainment, meetings booked, and pipeline generated that you can point to with evidence.
You have operated in environments under 100 people and are comfortable with ambiguity, moving faster because of it rather than waiting for structure to appear.
You understand how engineering teams function, and you can hold a real conversation about developer productivity, delivery metrics, and platform engineering without performing expertise you do not have.
Experience in developer tooling, DevOps, infrastructure SaaS, or engineering productivity is a strong indicator of fit for the problems we solve.
You are AI-native in how you work, using LLMs and Clay-style workflows to research, personalize, and prospect, compounding your effectiveness over time.
You are available for US East Coast overlap, approximately 3-10 PM IST, to support North America motion needs when required.
You are fluent in English and comfortable writing crisp, concise commercial narratives for emails, proposals, and executive conversations.
You are based in Bangalore and able to work full-time from the location with reliable connectivity and a suitable workspace.
You have a track record of meeting and exceeding targets, with discipline around pipeline management, forecasting, and documenting interactions in a reliable system of record.
Nice to have
Experience selling into developer audiences or through communities, meetups, and content channels that matter to engineering leaders.
A background in AI tooling, coding workflows, or platforms that support software engineering teams.
Exposure to GCC environments or large technology organizations in India where enterprise selling experience is valuable.
Practical notes
Available for US East Coast overlap (approx. 3-10 PM IST).
