What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive inspections of gas and utility installations to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Evaluate the condition of pipelines, meters, and other utility infrastructure, identifying any safety hazards or maintenance needs.
- Document inspection findings and generate detailed reports outlining compliance status, deficiencies, and recommended corrective actions.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to develop and implement solutions for identified issues.

Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in gas or utility inspection, safety, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of gas and utility regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Proven ability to identify safety hazards and recommend effective solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and technology, including GIS and data management software.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various job sites as required.
- Certification from a recognized industry body (e.g., API, ASNT) is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with environmental regulations and safety management systems is a plus.
