About the role
In this position, you will play a vital role in designing, implementing, and delivering training programs for the OnDeck sales team at Enova International. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure new sales representatives are effectively onboarded, equipped with the necessary skills, and continuously developed to meet and exceed performance expectations. You will work closely with sales leadership to identify training needs, develop engaging content, and facilitate sessions that foster a collaborative and motivated learning environment. This role requires a proactive approach to training, a passion for teaching, and a commitment to helping sales teams succeed through continuous improvement and skill enhancement.

What you'll do
- Lead comprehensive onboarding programs for new sales hires, ensuring they understand product features, sales processes, and company policies to set them up for success from day one.
- Develop, update, and refine training curricula tailored to different experience levels within the sales team, including modules on sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer engagement strategies.
- Deliver engaging training sessions in various formats, including in-person workshops, virtual webinars, and computer-based learning modules, ensuring accessibility and effectiveness across all platforms.
- Manage and facilitate ongoing training initiatives to enhance the skills of experienced sales representatives, focusing on advanced sales techniques, objection handling, and closing strategies.
- Collaborate with sales managers and leadership to identify skill gaps and develop targeted training solutions that address specific team needs.
- Incorporate new technologies and tools into training programs, such as Salesforce and AI-powered features, to improve sales enablement and efficiency.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations of training effectiveness through feedback, quizzes, and performance metrics, adjusting content and delivery methods as needed to maximize impact.
- Support the creation of training materials, including manuals, presentations, and digital resources, ensuring they are current, comprehensive, and aligned with company goals.
- Foster a positive learning environment by encouraging questions, facilitating discussions, and promoting a culture of continuous development.
- Track individual and team progress, providing coaching and mentorship to reinforce learning and improve overall sales performance.
- Maintain organized records of training activities, attendance, and outcomes to support reporting and future planning.
- Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in sales training, incorporating innovative approaches to keep programs fresh and effective.
- Assist in onboarding new trainers or facilitators as the team grows, sharing best practices and ensuring consistency in training quality.
- Support other HR or sales initiatives related to employee development, including performance reviews and career growth planning.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, training, education, or a related field, with a proven track record of developing and delivering effective training programs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse audiences.
- Strong facilitation skills, capable of conducting engaging sessions both in person and virtually.
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with sales teams, managers, and leadership.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple training projects simultaneously.
- Basic analytical skills to interpret feedback, training assessments, and performance data to improve programs.
- A proactive attitude with a passion for teaching and continuous learning.
- Familiarity with sales tools such as Salesforce and AI features used in sales enablement is preferred.
- Experience designing and implementing training programs in fast-paced, quota-driven environments is advantageous.
- Ability to adapt training content to different learning styles and levels of experience.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and incorporate them into training initiatives.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively about training solutions.

Practical notes
Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States; we are unable to sponsor visas at this time. The role is based on-site in Denver, CO, with a hybrid work schedule that requires attendance in the office Tuesday through Thursday. The remaining days can be worked remotely, providing flexibility for work-life balance. The position offers a competitive salary range of $72,000 to $110,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
