About the role

You will deliver side-by-side interventions that emphasize problem-solving, skill-building, behavior modeling, optimism, and ongoing encouragement to support individual progress. You will collaborate with the team and clients to continuously assess symptoms, monitor responses to interventions, and adjust support strategies as needed. You will promote access to culturally competent, strengths-based, recovery-oriented, and rehabilitation-focused services that align with each client's preferences. You will support clients in identifying and utilizing personal and community resources to achieve individualized goals and enhance community integration. You will work closely with supervisors and team members to ensure service delivery is guided by each client's needs, values, and long-term recovery objectives. You will bring dedication to improving the lives of adults with mental health challenges and demonstrate the interpersonal skills needed to build meaningful relationships with both the individuals we serve and members of the ACCS team. • Conduct comprehensive assessments in partnership with the multidisciplinary team to inform individualized service planning.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation of all client interactions and progress notes as required by agency policy.
• Facilitate connections between clients and community resources to address housing, employment, education, and healthcare needs.
• Participate in regular team meetings, supervision, and case conferences to coordinate care and share insights.
• Implement safety protocols and de-escalation techniques to maintain a secure environment for clients and staff.
• Monitor and report changes in client status to ensure timely adjustments to intervention strategies.
• Engage in continuous learning by attending trainings and workshops related to mental health and recovery practices.
• Support the goals of the Adult Community Clinical Services division through flexible scheduling as needed.
• Demonstrate cultural humility and responsiveness in all interactions with clients, families, and colleagues.
• Contribute to a positive workplace culture that values belonging, professional growth, and inclusive collaboration.

Requirements

• Requires a High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with adults with severe mental illness.
• MAP Certification required.
• Valid Massachusetts drivers license.
• Eligibility for employment verification and background check.
• Must be able to provide proof of vaccination for employment.
• Compliance with agency policies, procedures, and confidentiality standards.
• Ability to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and as-needed schedules.
• Commitment to upholding ethical standards and professional conduct in all client interactions.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and supervision to maintain quality of service delivery.
• Access to reliable transportation to fulfill duties across service areas within the assigned region.
• Capacity to engage effectively with diverse populations and adapt communication styles to meet individual needs.
• Understanding of recovery-oriented principles and person-centered approaches to mental health support.
• Acceptance of responsibility for maintaining a safe and supportive environment for clients and coworkers.

Compensation: $20 USD hourly rate.
