About the role
The Overnight Service Associate owns the first and last impression of every guest and member who passes through the doors of EōS Fitness during overnight hours. This role owns the responsibility of greeting each person with a friendly and professional demeanor, setting the immediate tone for their visit. The associate owns the duty of being the primary source of information for members, guests, and staff, answering questions with accuracy and enthusiasm. You own the commitment to creating a fun, welcoming atmosphere that aligns with the gym's Core Purpose of cultivating loyal, lifelong exercise practitioners. This position requires taking personal responsibility for the cleanliness and organization of the front desk and surrounding areas to the highest standard. The associate owns the follow-through on all safety protocols, ensuring the overnight environment remains secure and orderly for everyone. You will handle member inquiries and requests with patience and knowledge, ensuring every individual feels valued and supported in their fitness journey. Finally, this role demands adaptability, owning the flexibility to shift duties as management directs to meet the evolving needs of the facility.

What you'll do
Greet members and guests with a friendly and professional attitude.
Provide information about gym services, programs, and membership options.
Address member inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
Check-in members and guests using the gym's management system.
Oversee and manage check-in alerts and notifications.
Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
Process payments for memberships, classes, and retail items.
Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of all gym members and staff.
Monitor and manage inventory levels for coolers, beverages, and bar items, as well as track sales performance.
Complete gym walks to rack weights, pick up trash, and complete bathroom and locker room checks.
Maintain a high level of energy and enthusiasm to embody the upbeat culture of EōS Fitness.
Utilize proficiency in MS Office to prepare documents and enter data accurately.
Communicate effectively with employees, members, and the public at all times.
Ensure all gym policies are followed and promote a positive environment for all visitors.
Requirements
Must possess previous experience in customer service or a front desk role.
Must have experience or a strong interest in the fitness industry.
Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills with a customer-focused attitude.
Demonstrate the ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced environment efficiently.
Show proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with gym management software.
Maintain strong organizational and problem-solving skills in all situations.
Must be able to work overnight hours - 10pm - 6am but may vary on business needs.

Must hold a current CPR certification within 30 days of hire to ensure safety compliance.
Must attend all mandatory company trainings within 30 days of employment.
Adhere to all current company policies and standard operating procedures, which may be updated or changed over time.
Possess the ability to work in a gym setting; move about club floors and rooms; communicate with employees, members, and the public clearly and effectively.
Be capable of bending routinely and repetitively to lift more than 40 lbs. as required by floor duties.
Have the ability to access and operate company computer systems to prepare documents, enter data, and read reports from database or email systems.
Practical notes
The position requires overnight shifts between 10pm and 6am, with potential variations based on operational demands. The associate must be able to commute to the Layton, UT location at N Fort Ln reliably during these hours. This role is not eligible for remote work.
