Location and Engagement
The specific location for this position is Tempe, Arizona, at the intersection of E Guadalupe Rd and S Rural Rd. The engagement is structured as a full-time role. The compensation package is set at $58,656 USD.
Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities
You will participate in a structured onboarding journey designed to develop operations leadership. For external hires, this phase lasts up to six weeks; for internal candidates, the duration is four weeks. During this period, you will gain hands-on experience in gym operations. This includes scheduling, analyzing reports, and prioritizing daily activities to ensure equipment readiness.
A key responsibility involves greeting members and directing guests as they enter the facility. You will oversee service standards and manage the daily flow of people. Another duty is to shadow current gym managers to learn day-to-day leadership practices. In doing so, you will influence team collaborations and support the Service team.
The role requires providing assistance with member requests and inquiries. You will perform various administrative tasks as needed to support the gym. You will also assist in maintaining operational excellence and customer service by upholding established company standards. Supporting sales initiatives is part of the position, including membership growth and upselling efforts aimed at achieving key performance indicators.
Finally, you may step into acting managerial roles for a day or shift under direct supervision. This hands-on learning opportunity is designed to build practical leadership skills.
Qualifications and Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must pass a background check. Authorization to work in the United States is mandatory. Reliable transportation is a requirement for this role every day.
Previous leadership experience is preferred. Candidates should have at least six months in a leadership role, ideally within the fitness or customer service sectors. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills are essential. A demonstrated ability to inspire and collaborate with teams in a fast-paced environment is necessary. A genuine passion for fitness must drive your performance in this role.

EōS Fitness is an anchor store at Plaza West Covina, a large regional shopping mall in West Covina, California. The mall is owned by Starwood Capital Group. It is now managed by Pacific Retail Capital Partners. The site was previously acquired by Westfield America, Inc. in 1998. At that time, the center was renamed Westfield Shoppingtown West Covina. The shopping center dropped the Shoppingtown name in June 2005. In October 2013, Westfield Group sold the mall to Starwood Capital Group. During that 2013 transaction, Westfield retained a 10% equity stake in the property. The mall's anchor stores include Macy's, JCPenney, Nordstrom Rack, Best Buy, and EōS Fitness.
