The company is looking for a high-volume recruiter to own the staffing strategy for the workforce that drives operations and data collection. This position sits at the intersection of talent acquisition and operational execution, requiring a practitioner who can scale hiring engines rapidly. You will be responsible for ensuring the organization has the human capital necessary to train and deploy advanced robotic systems. The role demands a blend of process rigor, data fluency, and the agility to operate inside a fast-moving hardware startup.

What you'll do
- Execute full-cycle recruitment for high-volume categories such as teleoperators, data collection specialists, hardware technicians, and general operations personnel.
- Build and sustain a robust candidate pipeline leveraging job boards, employee referral programs, agency relationships, hiring events, and proactive direct sourcing campaigns.
- Orchestrate the complex logistics of large-scale interview scheduling, initial screening workflows, and new-hire onboarding coordination.
- Partner closely with operations and data-collection leadership to forecast headcount requirements and pivot hiring plans as project priorities shift.
- Track, analyze, and optimize core recruiting metrics including funnel conversion rates, time-to-fill benchmarks, and overall pipeline velocity.
- Guarantee a transparent, respectful, and positive experience for every applicant throughout the selection journey.
- Continuously refine hiring workflows, administer the Applicant Tracking System, and implement automation solutions to boost efficiency and inclusivity.
- Develop creative sourcing strategies to reach non-traditional talent pools relevant to robotics data operations.
- Manage vendor and agency relationships to ensure cost-effective and high-quality candidate delivery at scale.
- Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers to define role profiles, calibration criteria, and interview rubrics.
- Produce regular reporting dashboards for leadership highlighting hiring progress, bottlenecks, and market intelligence.
- Support employer branding initiatives specific to the operations and data collection functions.
Requirements
- Minimum three years of professional recruiting experience with a distinct focus on high-volume or operations-centric hiring environments.
- Demonstrated ability to juggle numerous open requisitions concurrently while maintaining meticulous organization and follow-through.
- Fluency in leveraging recruitment data to diagnose process bottlenecks and drive throughput improvements.
- Exceptional communication skills for aligning candidate expectations with hiring manager requirements and delivering feedback.
- Proven comfort operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup setting where requirements evolve rapidly.
- Genuine commitment to the mission of building humanoid robotics and a clear understanding of the critical role data collection plays in embodied AI.
- Authorization to work in the United States for the employer without sponsorship requirements.
- Willingness to work onsite at the Redwood City, CA headquarters five days a week.
