In this pivotal position, you will act as a vital business partner to the sales leadership team, translating overarching strategic objectives into practical execution strategies. The primary focus of this role is to enhance sales performance by leveraging data-driven insights, refining processes, and integrating AI-powered workflows to boost operational efficiency. Your contributions will be essential in driving the success of the sales organization within the Asia-Pacific and Japan (APJ) region.

What you'll do
- Lead and manage the regional operating rhythms, which include pipeline assessments, forecasting, and performance evaluations to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Develop and oversee frameworks for account segmentation and territory planning, which will serve as a guide for effective business management.
- Collaborate closely with data and systems teams to automate repetitive reporting tasks and enhance the cleanliness of the sales pipeline.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of extensive datasets to uncover performance trends, providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Spearhead cross-functional projects that involve collaboration with Marketing, Finance, Legal, HR, and Product teams to ensure cohesive organizational alignment.
- Act as the main point of contact for the coordination of go-to-market (GTM) systems, as well as improvements in enablement and compensation strategies.
- Facilitate the integration of AI tools into sales processes to enhance decision-making and operational workflows.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of sales strategies and initiatives.
- Provide training and support to sales teams on new processes and tools, ensuring they are equipped to meet their targets.
- Engage with executive stakeholders to communicate insights and drive strategic discussions that influence business direction.
- Stay informed about market trends and competitive landscape to inform strategic planning and operational adjustments.
Requirements
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in fields such as management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory; or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.
- A proven history of supporting Sales Operations specifically within the APJ region, demonstrating a deep understanding of the market.
- At least 4 years of experience working directly with executive-level stakeholders, showcasing strong interpersonal skills.
- Professional proficiency in both English and Japanese is essential for effective communication.
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required to qualify for this position.
- A demonstrated ability to utilize AI and automation tools to synthesize data, streamline workflows, and enhance operational efficiency while maintaining critical human judgment.

- Experience in a technology-driven environment, particularly within the SaaS industry, is a plus.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales enablement tools to support operational functions.
