Program Manager, Workforce Planning
About the role
This role is central to the operational effectiveness of the Workforce Planning team. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the systems and processes that allow the team to execute its strategic initiatives consistently and at scale. Your work will ensure that planning cycles, governance, and reporting run smoothly, enabling strategic advisory work to flourish.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Manage the operational calendar for Workforce Planning, including all planning phases, governance meetings, executive updates, and organizational health reviews.
- Support the execution of various workstreams by tracking progress, key dates, interdependencies, and potential risks.
- Oversee the process for distributing approved Workforce Planning information and materials to relevant audiences.
- Develop and maintain resources such as templates, guides, standards, and training materials to support adoption of tools and processes.
- Coordinate with People Analytics and People Technology teams to ensure alignment on tooling, reporting, and infrastructure.
Requirements
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in program management, business operations, planning operations, or strategy and operations.
- Proven ability to manage multiple interconnected projects and develop clear plans, timelines, and ownership structures.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience preparing content for senior leadership.
- Skill in identifying and mitigating risks, dependencies, and obstacles.
- A detail-oriented approach with a commitment to follow-through.
- The capacity to work autonomously and collaborate effectively within a dynamic team environment.
- Experience using data and feedback to monitor progress and adoption.
- Demonstrated success in applying AI-enabled tools to streamline operational tasks, documentation, reporting, and knowledge management.
- Experience conceptualizing employee experiences as products, applying product management principles to HR initiatives.
- Proficiency in using design thinking methodologies to understand user needs and implement iterative improvements.
Nice to have
- Prior exposure to workforce planning, talent planning, or financial planning.
- Experience collaborating with teams like Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners, People Analytics, People Technology, and Finance.
- Background supporting planning cycles, governance structures, or the implementation of new tools and processes.

Practical notes
- This role requires approximately 5-10% travel per year for team gatherings and offsites.
- Compensation range: $128,400 - $173,700 CAD annually.
- Total rewards include potential for corporate bonus or sales incentives and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
