Senior Solutions Engineer
This role centers on owning the complete enterprise journey, from initial engagement through renewal, while reinforcing the trust that defines every partnership. You will serve as a hands-on builder who converts executive ambition into precise technical narratives and measurable commercial success. You act as the primary technical storyteller for strategic accounts, ensuring that complex value propositions are translated into compelling and coherent narratives for executive sponsors. The position requires you to own the end-to-end solution narrative, bridging the gap between customer pain points and the capabilities of our platform. You will be responsible for shaping the commercial narrative into a structured journey that guides the customer from discovery to adoption and renewal. This role demands a balance of technical depth and business acumen to drive consensus among diverse stakeholders. You will leverage your expertise to turn ambiguous requirements into clear, actionable solution blueprints that the organization can execute. Ultimately, you ensure that every interaction reinforces the promise of trust and accelerates the customer's path to value realization.
Position Details
Location for this role is hybrid in London. The engagement is full-time. The base compensation is set at $180,000 USD.
Core Responsibilities
You will architect sales narratives for strategic prospects and coordinate cross-functional inputs for complex enterprise deals. The role involves championing customer insights by translating executive requirements into clear product expectations for engineering teams. You will champion competitive positioning by gathering intelligence and refining battle cards for high-stakes opportunities. A key responsibility is orchestrating proof of concept workflows, aligning technical validation with buying committee expectations and defined success criteria. You will guide deal strategy through discovery, stakeholder mapping, and scenario planning to shorten cycles and increase conversion. Modeling financial outcomes for opportunities is essential, quantifying tradeoffs between speed, scope, and long-term value. You will shape solution messaging with sales leadership to ensure positioning aligns with market needs and buyer language. Supporting renewal and expansion conversations will involve using data and stories to reinforce trust and ongoing value realization. You will partner with enablement to refine playbooks, training, and collateral based on field feedback and win-loss patterns. Championing continuous experimentation by testing new approaches and sharing learnings across the sales organization is also expected. You will act as a trusted advisor, providing counsel that helps clients navigate regulatory and operational complexities with confidence. The role requires synthesizing technical documentation into accessible formats that resonate with both technical and executive audiences.
Requirements
You bring 5+ years of experience driving solutions in SaaS environments, with a documented record of selling to senior leadership. Familiarity with major cloud platforms is required, along with the ability to articulate how services map to business outcomes for decision-makers. You demonstrate a history of delivering proof of concepts that address technical objections and accelerate purchasing decisions. A proven track record of succeeding with complex enterprise solutions is necessary, including experience navigating long cycles and multiple stakeholders. The ability to build enduring relationships with executives and communicate in a clear, persuasive style that respects their time is critical. You explain intricate topics simply, using narratives, visuals, and examples that make tradeoffs transparent. A solid technical background, including hands-on experience with software development and web technologies, enables credible dialogue with engineering partners. Precision in writing and speaking ensures messages are accurate, concise, and audience-aware. You present with clarity and creativity, designing sessions that engage audiences and drive toward next steps. You thrive in ambiguous situations, able to formulate questions and structure problems where the path forward is not immediately obvious. Comfort with data and metrics is essential for measuring the impact of your solutions and demonstrating tangible results.
