DoubleVerify is on the lookout for a talented Product Operations Manager to lead the systems and automation framework that underpins the Product organization's planning and execution processes. This role is in optimizing and sustaining the tools necessary for operational efficiency within the team, requiring a blend of technical know-how and a thorough understanding of product operations.

What you'll do

• Design, implement, and enhance automation workflows utilizing tools such as Jira Product Discovery and Confluence, ensuring they are reliable and scalable for team use.
• Evolve existing prototype automations and new AI capabilities into comprehensive, monitored systems that include rigorous testing and error management processes.
• Create real-time integrations and data pipelines that seamlessly connect portfolio strategy (OKRs, Programs) with planning (Projects) and execution (Team Deliverables, Jira tickets), providing enhanced visibility for leadership teams.
• Develop automated health checks, dependency monitoring, and status reporting systems to reduce manual tasks during quarterly planning cycles, streamlining operations.
• Create reusable automation templates and self-service patterns that allow Product Managers and cross-functional teams to independently manage common workflows.
• Implement automated data quality checks to ensure that incomplete or erroneous data does not enter planning systems, addressing concerns such as missing PRDs and undefined target dates.
• Design automated communication systems for quarterly planning milestones, preparations for OKR sessions, dependency deadlines, and reporting mechanisms.
• Collaborate on the development of AI-enabled tools for process enforcement, including agents that verify project artifacts for completeness and compliance with established standards.
• Work closely with IT, Engineering, and DevOps teams to align automation efforts, prevent redundancy, and ensure consistency across operational tools.
• Document automation workflows, system architecture, and operational procedures to support knowledge transfer and ensure the long-term sustainability of the systems.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in product operations, technical program management, operations engineering, or a related field with a strong emphasis on tooling and automation.
• Hands-on experience with workflow automation platforms such as Jira Automation, n8n, or Zapier, along with a proven history of creating production-ready integrations.
• Understanding of API-driven development, including RESTful APIs, webhooks, and techniques for data transformation.
• Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and the broader Atlassian ecosystem; familiarity with Jira Product Discovery is a notable advantage.
• Comfort with AI and LLM-based tools or a strong desire to rapidly develop expertise in this area.
• Solid grasp of data quality principles, monitoring strategies, and methodologies for automated testing.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the capability to manage multiple projects independently once objectives are set.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document technical systems in a way that is accessible to non-technical audiences.
• Capacity to navigate ambiguous, cross-functional environments with a proactive problem-solving approach.
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership of a technical domain over time, including building knowledge, establishing governance, and effectively communicating context to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience in Ad Tech, SaaS, or rapidly growing technology companies.
• Familiarity with product development lifecycle (PDLC) frameworks and OKR methodologies.
• Background in data pipeline or ETL tools, as well as scripting languages like Python or JavaScript, or experience with low-code/no-code platforms.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD, version control, and infrastructure-as-code concepts.
• Experience in developing or scaling internal tools for operational teams.

Practical notes

The starting salary for this position will be determined by various non-discriminatory factors, including qualifications, skills, experience, location, and internal equity considerations. The expected salary range for this role is between $94,000 and $160,000. Additionally, this position may be eligible for bonuses, equity, and benefits. The range provided reflects the expectations outlined in the job description, but we are open to considering diverse profiles and recognize that candidates may have varying levels of experience.
