What you'll do

• Engineer new features in collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver measurable product improvements.
• Refactor existing code modules systematically to maintain and improve the long-term health of the codebase.

Requirements

• Hold a B.S., M.S., or PhD in Computer Science or an equivalent field from an accredited institution.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of professional industry experience in software development.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Android SDK development within a product-focused, fast-paced environment.
• Show a strong understanding of systems architecture principles and object-oriented programming concepts.
• Have hands-on experience with Android testing frameworks and established best practices for quality assurance.
• Provide evidence of a proven track record in building, releasing, and iterating on mobile applications successfully.
• Exercise independent judgment and discretion when evaluating technical options and making critical decisions.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to clarify requirements and constraints.

Practical notes

Compensation for this role includes base salary and equity grants. Base salary ranges by level: I4 ($130,600 to $192,000), I5 ($159,800 to $235,000), and I6 ($193,800 to $285,000). Additional benefits comprise 401(k) matching, 16 weeks of paid parental leave, comprehensive medical/dental/vision insurance, disability and life insurance, mental health programs, family-forming assistance, 11 paid holidays, flexible paid time off, and 80 hours of annual sick leave.
