About the role
This position is responsible for the oversight of multiple DashMart local-fulfillment centers to guarantee consistent, high-quality service and operational efficiency across the assigned market. The hire will lead on-site teams to manage inventory accuracy, order fulfillment workflows, and overall storefront performance in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment. Success in this role requires ownership of the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, coaching, and development of direct and indirect reports to meet business objectives. The individual will drive the implementation of process improvement projects and operational pilots designed to scale market growth and enhance profitability. You will collaborate closely with central teams to ensure alignment on resources, tools, and support necessary for effective site-level execution. This role is critical in fostering a positive, high-performing culture among frontline staff to meet rigorous service standards. You will utilize strong analytical capabilities to interpret data and drive decision-making that improves key performance indicators. Ultimately, this position owns the end-to-end operational health of DashMart locations to deliver a reliable customer experience.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Recruit, coach, and manage a team of 4+ direct reports and 30+ indirect reports across 4-6 locations while developing their career growth.
- Oversee site performance metrics including profitability, storefront reliability, and order quality to identify trends and drive corrective actions.
- Implement process improvement projects and operational pilots to scale market growth and optimize resource utilization.
- Drive change management initiatives and foster a positive culture among frontline staff to maintain high engagement and retention.
- Collaborate with central teams to provide resources, tools, and support for site-level execution and strategic alignment.
- Ensure strict adherence to inventory controls, loss prevention protocols, and safety standards across all managed DashMart locations.
- Analyze labor productivity, sales trends, and operational data to forecast needs and improve scheduling accuracy.
- Lead cross-functional partnerships with logistics and supply chain teams to resolve fulfillment bottlenecks and improve throughput.
- Mentor and develop junior managers to build a strong leadership pipeline within the district.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and local operating procedures in all managed sites.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in operations, strategy, warehousing, or retail management demonstrating a track record of operational excellence.
- Proven leadership experience managing teams of 15+ employees or multi-unit operations with success in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and non-traditional hours to support 24/7 operations as needed.
- Must live within a commutable distance to the DashMart locations in the Minneapolis area to ensure reliable on-site presence.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive decision-making and improve operational performance.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
- Eligibility to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship at the time of hire is mandatory for this role.
- Willingness to undergo background checks and other pre-employment screening processes as part of the hiring procedure.
