Domino Data Lab is seeking a Quality & Compliance Analyst to join their team in a remote capacity based in India. This role focuses on ensuring that the company's data science platform and internal processes meet the highest standards of quality and regulatory compliance. The analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify risks, implement quality controls, and maintain adherence to industry standards. This is a full-time position that offers the flexibility of remote work while contributing to a globally distributed organization. The analyst will play a key part in building and sustaining a culture of quality across all products and services offered by the company.

What you'll do
Review and assess internal quality assurance processes across the organization on a regular basis
Develop and maintain compliance documentation for regulatory standards and internal policies
Conduct audits to verify that data handling practices meet policy requirements and industry norms
Collaborate with engineering and product teams to identify quality gaps and recommend improvements
Create detailed test plans and execute them to validate platform functionality and reliability
Document findings from quality assessments and present clear reports to relevant stakeholders
Ensure that all workflows align with applicable industry regulations and internal guidelines
Monitor changes in compliance requirements and update internal procedures accordingly in a timely manner
Support the rollout of new platform features with thorough quality and compliance checks
Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed for reviews and assessments
Maintain a structured repository of compliance records, quality metrics, and audit documentation
Participate in cross-team meetings to communicate quality standards and expectations to all parties
Assist in the preparation of regulatory submissions and respond to inquiries from external reviewers
Train and guide team members on quality best practices and compliance expectations in daily workflows
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as computer science, information technology, engineering, or a closely related discipline
Experience working in quality assurance, compliance, or a related analytical role within a technology or software company
Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and standards applicable to data management, software products, and platform services
Ability to write clear, detailed documentation and comprehensive audit reports that communicate findings to both technical and business audiences
Familiarity with quality management systems, compliance methodologies, and continuous improvement practices in a product development environment
Proven attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy under tight deadlines
Effective written and verbal communication skills for working with diverse technical and non-technical teams across remote settings
Experience with remote collaboration tools and a demonstrated track record of self-directed work in distributed environments
Nice to have
Prior experience in a data science or machine learning platform environment, particularly with model governance and lifecycle management
Knowledge of GDPR, HIPAA, or other data protection regulations and standards relevant to technology companies
Familiarity with DevOps or MLOps practices and the tooling commonly used in those workflows for model deployment
Professional certification in quality management or compliance, such as ISO 9001, CQA, or an equivalent credential
Skills & tools
Proficiency with quality management and compliance tracking software for documenting and monitoring standards
Experience with documentation and reporting platforms used for audit trails and regulatory submissions
Familiarity with version control systems and collaborative development tools used in software engineering teams
Understanding of data governance frameworks and data lifecycle management across the organization
Ability to use spreadsheet applications, project management tools, and collaborative workspaces effectively
Comfort with reading and interpreting technical specifications, system architectures, and product requirement documents

This is a fully remote role based in India, requiring a reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace at home
The candidate should be comfortable working independently and managing their own schedule without direct supervision
Regular communication with team members across different time zones is expected as part of the remote collaboration model
The role may require occasional participation in meetings outside of standard working hours to align with global team schedules
Candidates should be prepared to work within Indian standard time and maintain availability during overlapping hours with global colleagues
