About the role
This position is for a senior leader who will manage Directive's most important client relationships. You will oversee client retention, growth, and overall satisfaction for a portfolio of high-value accounts. This role requires a balance of strategic insight, commercial understanding, and the ability to guide cross-functional teams toward client success.

What you'll do
- Lead daily strategic interactions with enterprise and high-growth clients, managing executive communications and long-term partnership value.
- Develop and implement strategies for renewals, upsells, and cross-sells to directly impact Net Revenue Retention (NRR).
- Create integrated growth plans across various marketing channels, including Paid Media, SEO/Content, CRO, Creative, and RevOps, ensuring unified execution and reporting.
- Manage portfolio finances, including forecasting, profit margins, scope control, and renewal negotiations.
- Present performance data in Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and executive summaries, linking marketing efforts to revenue outcomes.
- Collaborate with channel leads, project managers, and operations teams to align priorities, mitigate risks, and ensure high-quality delivery.
- Identify potential client risks early and address issues before they escalate to senior management.
- Guide strategists, analysts, and project teams to enhance their strategic thinking and commercial accountability.
Requirements
- 7 to 12 years of experience in agency or client services, with significant work involving B2B SaaS or technology clients.
- Demonstrated success managing renewals, upsells, and cross-sells for a client portfolio exceeding $2M.
- Strong understanding of Paid Media, SEO/Content, CRO, Creative, and RevOps, and how to connect these to business results.
- Experience working with VP, CMO, and CRO-level client executives.
- A drive to stay informed about industry trends, including how AI and automation can improve marketing and operations.
- Clear and confident communication skills, able to translate performance into business impact.
- Ability to manage forecasts, margins, scope, and renewal economics.
- Capable of setting strategic direction while maintaining operational discipline.
- Skilled at influencing diverse teams without direct authority to achieve shared goals.
- A continuous desire to find better ways to improve client and portfolio performance.

This is a remote position within Canada. You must have current work authorization and reside permanently in Canada.
