You will translate complex travel requirements into clear, personalized itineraries that align with client goals and budgets. You will leverage your passion for exploration to recommend unique destinations and experiences that exceed expectations. You will act as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through each step of the planning process with patience and professionalism. You will collaborate with internal teams to access supplier promotions and travel trends that benefit your clients. You will maintain meticulous records to ensure accuracy and continuity for all reservations. You will contribute to the growth of the Destination Knot brand by embodying its commitment to seamless, high-quality service.

What you'll do
Investigate client travel goals and craft tailored recommendations for destinations and resorts.
Execute bookings for flights, hotels, ground transportation, and curated activities using specialized online tools.
Adapt existing itineraries to accommodate last-minute changes, cancellations, or urgent special requests.
Verify the accuracy of client information and reservation details to prevent errors and ensure smooth travel.
Monitor partner promotions and travel policy updates to provide the most relevant options to clients.
Document every interaction and modification in client profiles to maintain organized and current records.
Evaluate destination trends and supplier offerings to identify new opportunities for client experiences.
Test communication platforms and booking systems to ensure they function smoothly for daily operations.
Support the onboarding process by participating in training sessions and learning new travel industry procedures.
Represent Destination Knot with a friendly and solution-focused demeanor in all client communications.
Perform administrative tasks related to invoicing, confirmations, and follow-up reminders for upcoming trips.
Identify opportunities to upsell value-added services, such as upgrades or activity packages, when appropriate.
Collaborate with team members to share best practices and improve overall workflow efficiency.
Provide timely responses to client inquiries through email and messaging platforms while maintaining professionalism.
Requirements
Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid government-issued identification.
Must have consistent access to a reliable high-speed internet connection capable of supporting video calls and large file transfers.
Must own or have access to a personal computer with up-to-date software and operating systems.
Must reside in or be willing to work from the state of New York due to compensation and tax considerations.
Must demonstrate strong written communication skills with attention to grammar, tone, and clarity.
Must be able to manage multiple client requests simultaneously without sacrificing accuracy or quality.
Must be comfortable learning and using various booking platforms, content management systems, and communication tools.
Must work well independently in a remote setting, requiring minimal direct supervision while staying accountable to deadlines.
Must exhibit a high level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling sensitive client information.
Must possess a genuine interest in travel and a desire to help others plan meaningful and memorable experiences.
Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate clients in different time zones.
Must have the ability to adapt to changing priorities, policies, and travel industry updates as they arise.
Must be willing to participate in ongoing training to maintain knowledge of travel products and industry standards.

Practical notes
This is a remote, part-time position with a scheduled commitment of 10 to 20 hours per week.
The role requires availability during non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends, to support global clients.
Candidates must be located in or be able to relocate within the state of New York to align with compensation regulations.
