Cruise & Resort Reservation Specialist
Job description
About the role
You will conduct comprehensive intake sessions to capture client travel goals, preferred dates, budget limitations, and specific accessibility requirements, using this information as the foundation for every itinerary you build. You will construct initial travel frameworks by carefully selecting optimal cruise segments, resort alternatives, and room categories that align precisely with stated client preferences and restrictions. A core responsibility involves reviewing all pricing quotes, terms, and conditions to verify accuracy, identify critical deadlines, and outline pending items before obtaining client approval. You will ship finalized travel documents and confirmation codes to clients through secure communication channels while clearly explaining all subsequent steps they must take. The role demands close collaboration with internal departments and external vendors to resolve schedule conflicts, adjust travel dates, and manage necessary changes to existing plans. You will act as the primary resource for clients seeking guidance on modification requests, potential upgrades, or cancellation procedures, handling these cases while ensuring all associated records remain precise and current. Maintaining detailed intake logs, booking timelines, and follow-up task lists is essential to ensure no detail is overlooked, particularly during peak planning periods. You will clearly explain travel policies, payment schedules, and documentation requirements to ensure clients feel confident and fully prepared at every stage of their trip.
