• Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies, recommending enhancements where necessary.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for management review, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Participate in monthly financial close processes, ensuring all income is reconciled and discrepancies are resolved.
• Provide support during external audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
• Train and mentor junior staff on income auditing processes and best practices to foster a culture of accuracy and accountability.
• Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations to ensure compliance and best practices are followed.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with department heads to facilitate effective communication regarding financial matters.
• Utilize accounting software and tools to streamline auditing processes and improve efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in income auditing or a similar financial role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with hotel management systems is a plus.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey financial information clearly.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of integrity and professionalism when dealing with sensitive financial information.
