What you'll do

• Lead and manage the daily operations of multiple food and beverage outlets within the Hard Rock Hotel, ensuring high standards of service and quality are consistently met.
• Develop and implement innovative menus that reflect current trends while catering to the diverse tastes of our guests.
• Oversee inventory management, including ordering, stock control, and waste reduction, to optimize profitability and minimize costs.
• Train, mentor, and develop a team of food and beverage staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to promote special events, themed nights, and seasonal offerings that enhance guest engagement and drive revenue.
• Monitor guest feedback and satisfaction levels, using insights to make improvements and adjustments to service and offerings.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies, to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for both guests and staff.
• Analyze financial reports and key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality products and favorable terms for the hotel.
• Participate in budget planning and forecasting to align departmental goals with overall business objectives.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continually elevate the guest experience and operational standards.
• Act as a brand ambassador for Hard Rock, embodying the spirit and values of the brand in all interactions with guests and team members.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in food and beverage management, preferably in a hotel or high-volume restaurant setting.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
• Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and managing P&L statements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with guests and staff alike.
• A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations and best practices in food and beverage operations.

Nice to have

• A degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
• Experience in a high-profile or luxury hotel environment.
• Knowledge of local and international food and beverage trends.
• Proficiency in multiple languages, particularly Maltese and English.
• Previous experience with event planning and execution.
