What you'll do
- Architect and maintain a robust endpoint management framework for laptops, desktops, and mobile phones.
- Design and enforce security policies that ensure regulatory compliance and device integrity across the global network.
- Diagnose and resolve intricate endpoint issues related to operating system failures, application conflicts, and network connectivity.
- Engineer automated solutions for large-scale device imaging, software deployment, and systematic picking cycles.
- Partner with network and security teams to align endpoint configurations with enterprise-wide infrastructure standards.
- Analyze user device metrics and logs to identify trends, predict potential failures, and drive preventative improvements.
- Research, test, and propose innovative endpoint technologies that enhance security, usability, and support efficiency.
- Serve as the escalation owner for complex endpoint cases, guiding less experienced staff through difficult troubleshooting scenarios.
- Optimize the end-user experience by streamlining device setup processes and reducing friction in daily operations.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for procedures, configurations, and standards to ensure knowledge continuity.
- Conduct regular reviews of endpoint management tools to identify gaps and opportunities for consolidation or enhancement.
- Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to advise on hardware requirements and lifecycle management strategies.
- Implement and iterate on disaster recovery plans specific to endpoint devices and user data preservation.
- Act as the primary liaison between the workforce and the IT department regarding all matters concerning device functionality.
Requirements
- Bring over 5 years of professional experience specifically in IT endpoint management roles.
- Demonstrate proven expertise with enterprise-level device management platforms such as Intune, Jamf, or similar systems.
- Show a strong command over the architecture, configuration, and troubleshooting of macOS, Windows, and Linux operating systems.
- Exhibit proficiency in scripting and programming languages, including Python and PowerShell, to automate repetitive tasks and solve complex problems.
- Provide evidence of hands-on experience with identity and access management solutions, including integration with endpoints.
- Display a deep understanding of security principles, including encryption, authentication, and network access control as they relate to endpoints.
- Illustrate the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Confirm experience working with technical documentation and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear instructions.
