What you'll do

• Design and implement integration solutions that facilitate data exchange between D1g1t's platform and third-party services, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, QA, and DevOps, to define integration requirements and deliver comprehensive solutions.
• Develop and maintain APIs, webhooks, and data pipelines that support real-time data processing and analytics.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, providing timely support to internal teams and external partners.
• Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to integrations, evaluating their potential impact on D1g1t's offerings.
• Document integration processes, API specifications, and technical designs to ensure clarity and maintainability.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups to enhance team collaboration and productivity.
• Optimize existing integration solutions for performance, scalability, and security, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback and iterate on integration features, aligning them with user needs and business goals.
• Assist in the development of testing strategies for integration components, ensuring high-quality deliverables through automated testing frameworks.
• Contribute to the overall architecture and design of D1g1t's technology stack, advocating for best practices in software development and integration.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on integrations and API development.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#, with a strong understanding of object-oriented design principles.
• Extensive experience with RESTful APIs and web services, including knowledge of JSON, XML, and other data interchange formats.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their integration services.
• Strong understanding of database technologies, including SQL and NoSQL databases, and experience with data modeling and ETL processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git, and familiarity with CI/CD practices.
• Knowledge of security best practices for API development and data handling.

Nice to have

• Experience with financial services or fintech applications, providing insight into industry-specific integration challenges.
• Familiarity with message brokers and event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Understanding of microservices architecture and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Previous experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment, contributing to fast-paced development cycles.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools to ensure the health and performance of integration systems.
