What you'll do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify system requirements and enhancements that align with organizational goals.
• Monitor and maintain internal systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability, addressing any issues that arise promptly.
• Develop and implement system configurations and updates to improve functionality and user experience.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments of internal systems to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with security protocols.
• Provide technical support and training to team members on system usage and best practices, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing.
• Analyze system performance metrics and generate reports to inform management decisions and strategic planning.
• Work closely with the IT department to integrate new technologies and tools that enhance system capabilities.
• Participate in the design and execution of disaster recovery and business continuity plans to safeguard critical data and operations.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions that can be implemented within the organization.
• Assist in the documentation of system processes, configurations, and troubleshooting guides to facilitate knowledge transfer and onboarding of new team members.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at streamlining operations and enhancing the overall efficiency of internal systems.
• Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to ensure that all systems are up-to-date and functioning optimally.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in system administration or a similar role, preferably within the cybersecurity sector.
• Proficient in system monitoring tools and software, with a strong understanding of network protocols and security measures.
• Experience with cloud-based systems and services, particularly in managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ for scripting and automation tasks.
• Experience with cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards, such as ISO 27001 or NIST.
• Knowledge of database management systems and experience with SQL for data analysis and reporting.
