About the role
Culture Amp is actively seeking a People Operations Partner to take ownership of the full employee lifecycle while driving process modernization through the strategic application of AI. In this capacity, you will work in close collaboration with our People and Systems Analyst to architect, test, and deploy automated solutions that directly enhance our operational efficiency and reduce manual overhead. The ideal candidate is inherently motivated by the challenge of fixing broken workflows and possesses a genuine interest in shaping the future of human-centered employee experiences. This role requires a proactive mindset focused on identifying friction points and eliminating them through thoughtful technology and process design. You will be responsible for ensuring that our internal operations run smoothly, accurately, and efficiently on a daily basis. Success in this position will be defined by your ability to balance tactical execution with strategic process improvement. You will serve as a key liaison between the people operations function and the broader technical ecosystem. Ultimately, this position offers the opportunity to have a significant impact on how our team operates and scales.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Execute and manage all end-to-end employee lifecycle tasks, encompassing onboarding, offboarding, promotions, internal transfers, leave management, and contract updates with precision and timeliness.
- Partner with the People and Systems Analyst to design, rigorously test, and deploy AI-driven tools and integrations that streamline internal operations and improve data accuracy.
- Provide dedicated support to the Compliance and Operations Manager by coordinating training initiatives, maintaining meticulous employee records, and managing policy version control to ensure compliance.
- Uphold the highest standards of data integrity within our HRIS to guarantee that automated outputs, particularly those generated by AI, are reliable and accurate.
- Proactively analyze existing workflows to continuously identify manual, repetitive, or error-prone processes and take initiative to propose and implement improved solutions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for operational inquiries related to employee data and lifecycle management across the organization.
- Leverage automation platforms to reduce administrative burden and free up capacity for more strategic human resources initiatives.
- Monitor the performance of implemented processes and utilize feedback loops to iterate on solutions, ensuring they meet evolving business needs.
- Contribute to the maintenance and optimization of the technology stack responsible for supporting the employee experience.
- Act as an operational problem-solver, diagnosing issues within the HRIS and proposing corrective actions to prevent future disruptions.
Requirements
- Bring 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in People Operations, HR Operations, or a similar generalist role where process management was a core responsibility.
- Demonstrate a proven history of building practical solutions to solve process inefficiencies, such as successfully automating reporting tasks or replacing manual spreadsheets with more robust systems.
- Show a demonstrated experience or a strong interest in utilizing automation and AI tools including but not limited to Zapier, Make, Power Automate, ChatGPT, or Claude to enhance workflows.
- Possess hands-on experience working with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) and a solid understanding of how they function operationally.
- Exhibit strong attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to maintaining accurate, high-quality data as a core principle of your work ethic.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with BambooHR is considered a preferred qualification.
- Exposure to multi-jurisdictional HR requirements, such as those in US multi-state, Australia (AU), or the United Kingdom (UK), is viewed favorably.
Skills & tools
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms such as Workday or BambooHR.
- Practical skills in automation and AI platforms including Zapier, Make, Power Automate, ChatGPT, and Claude.
- A demonstrated ability in process improvement and thoughtful workflow design.
- Knowledge of compliance and policy management best practices.

Compensation for this role includes a base salary, equity participation through our Employee Share Option Program, and a comprehensive benefits package.
