You own the full lifecycle of high performance AI products, from data ingestion and model fine tuning to deployment and commercial optimisation. You are a creative strategist who balances sophisticated engineering with market psychology to solve complex problems in a fast moving crypto environment. You will master our live projects such as the 24/7 Terminal, BOOST Scanner, AI Influencer, and SEO tools while acting as a versatile lead for on demand AI initiatives. You communicate clearly in UK English and are directly accountable for turning your code into measurable value, ensuring every compute decision supports our growth and profitability.

Master AI Acquisition and Integration by designing and managing high performing systems that convert real time market signals into actionable user engagement.

Own the Full Funnel Architecture from raw social data ingestion through to conversion, building the technical backbone of our AI products.

Scale High Performance Systems by supporting and optimising our current portfolio while defending the extreme low latency standards required for live market tools.

Lead On-Demand Project Development as the primary technical resource for new AI initiatives, shepherding concepts into deployed solutions under tight velocity constraints.

Execute Life Cycle Journeys that seamlessly connect raw social signals to finished market insights, managing every tool and software layer for high fidelity tracking.

Performance Reporting and ROI by taking full commercial ownership of your code, ensuring outputs generate value and eliminate cash burning through inefficient compute or API usage.

Leverage Advanced Data Pipelines to transform streaming market data into durable features that power reliable model inference and user facing intelligence.

Champion Robust MLOps by hardening deployment paths, monitoring model drift, and automating retraining to keep our systems accurate and responsive.

Collaborate Across Functions with content, product, and growth teams to align AI capabilities with editorial calendars, product roadmaps, and community expectations.

Drive Continuous Optimisation by profiling latency, cost, and accuracy, then iterating on architecture and logic to consistently outperform existing benchmarks.

Maintain Crypto Market Literacy by integrating trading dynamics and on chain signals into model features that reflect the realities of live market behaviour.

Guard Data Integrity by enforcing strict quality checks across ingestion, transformation, and storage layers to prevent noise from degrading model performance.

Promote Clear Technical Communication by documenting systems, decisions, and trade offs in UK English to ensure stakeholders can act on your insights.

Chase Extreme Efficiency by ruthlessly optimising compute, memory, and API usage so that every dollar spent on infrastructure directly supports user value.

Requirements

You have a proven track record of scaling technical products and possess a deep, hands on development background that precedes the current AI wave.

You are a numbers person who lives in analytics, basing every architectural decision on hard data to identify leaks in the system before they impact the bottom line.

You are comfortable using low level tools, landing page builders, and CRM software to build the technical infrastructure of our AI products.

You can identify a generic solution from a mile away and understand how to iterate on high performance logic that resonates with the target audience psychology.

You have an understanding of crypto markets and trading dynamics, with some blockchain knowledge required for tokenomics related projects.

You speak and write clearly in UK English, with a bias to action and comfort working in a lean, high output team where you own the results.

You thrive under tight deadlines and high ambiguity, turning vague product ideas into reliable technical outcomes.

You are self disciplined and proactive, able to manage your schedule and deliverables without direct supervision on a daily basis.

Nice to have

Experience with FastAPI, asyncio, and Pydantic for building responsive, type driven APIs.

Hands on work with PostgreSQL, TimescaleDB, Redis, VectorDB, and Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ.

Proficiency in Python data science stacks including Pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn.

Exposure to LLMs such as OpenAI or Claude APIs, fine tuning, RAG, and related retrieval systems.

Background in deploying models on AWS or GCP, with familiarity with Docker and GPU deployment optimisation.

Familiarity with automation frameworks like Selenium and integration with Twitter API v2 or crypto exchange APIs such as Binance and CoinGecko.

Experience building and monitoring real time performance dashboards for latency, cost, and ROI.

Practical notes

Hours are flexible but require overlap with European business hours for live event support.

This is a remote contractor role based from Capetown; travel is not required.
