About the role
You own the first impression of our organization by serving as the primary point of contact for everyone who enters our Arvada facility. You will ensure that the front office and manufacturing shop operate seamlessly through consistent daily routines and proactive support. This role gives you ownership of the visitor experience, from greeting to check-in, while reinforcing our strict safety culture in a combined industrial environment. You will directly support the reliability of our operations by maintaining accurate records and coordinating essential services for site leadership. This is a hands-on position where your problem-solving skills will keep the workplace running efficiently every single day. Key facts
What you'll do
- Greet employees, contractors, and guests at the front desk with a professional and warm demeanor to create a positive arrival experience.
- Coordinate all visitor activities, including check-in procedures, issuance of guest badges, and enforcement of site safety and security protocols.
- Perform daily walkthroughs of the front reception area, breakrooms, and office spaces to identify maintenance or safety concerns and report findings to facilities.
- Monitor, order, and restock office supplies, coffee, breakroom snacks, and related products, coordinating with vendors to ensure the facility remains fully supplied.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down team events, company celebrations, and site events, including ordering food and organizing necessary logistics.
- Provide general administrative support to site leadership by routing vendor invoices, managing incoming and outgoing mail, and helping prepare onboarding materials.
- Meet and direct daily service vendors, such as janitorial staff and snack or beverage delivery personnel, upon arrival to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain organization and efficiency in a combined office and manufacturing/shop environment while adhering to all company procedures.
- Utilize clear, polite, and professional communication skills when interacting in person, over the phone, and via email with internal and external stakeholders.
- Transport supplies weighing up to 25 pounds and navigate both office and shop floor areas as required by daily duties.
- Follow all safety rules and wear required personal protective equipment, including safety glasses and steel-toe boots in designated areas.
- Contribute to a safe and welcoming workplace by actively participating in safety-sensitive protocols and supporting compliance efforts.
Requirements
- You must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this position.
- You must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening prior to receiving a job offer.
- You must be able to successfully complete random drug and alcohol testing throughout your employment at Crusoe.
- A positive test result or refusal to submit to testing will result in withdrawal of a conditional job offer or immediate termination of employment.
- This position is designated as safety-sensitive due to daily presence in a combined office and manufacturing shop environment.
- You must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship at this time.
- You must be able to perform the essential functions of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation, as required by our policies.

Practical notes
This role operates during standard business hours with potential for occasional evening or weekend events as needed. You must be able to commute to our Arvada, Colorado location reliably and maintain consistent attendance. This position requires the ability to work in a facility that contains both office and manufacturing/shop environments, requiring compliance with all safety protocols.
