About the role
You will own the end to end analytical infrastructure that powers Cresta's GTM engine, translating raw data from Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success into decision ready insights. In this role, you will build and maintain the recurring reports and dashboards that executive leaders rely on to set strategy and measure performance. You will partner closely with the Senior Director of Business Data and Intelligence to evolve standards, automate manual workflows, and scale the team's impact as Cresta grows rapidly. You will act as a senior individual contributor who also leads process and platform direction, mentoring others on best practices for data quality and transparency. Key facts
What you'll do
- Own recurring reporting across Sales, Marketing, and CS covering pipeline, win rates, ARR, funnel performance, churn, retention metrics, and usage data.
- Build and maintain reporting infrastructure in Looker Studio, BigQuery, and Salesforce to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and accessibility.
- Identify trends and surface insights proactively, rather than waiting for stakeholders to request analysis.
- Design and build both standard and mid complexity dashboards for GTM stakeholders, aligning with executive visibility needs.
- Collaborate with the Senior Director of Business Data and Intelligence on architecture for high visibility executive facing dashboards.
- Establish and enforce dashboard standards, including naming conventions, refresh cadences, and data source documentation.
- Maintain a self service reporting culture by building dashboards that stakeholders can trust and use without hand holding.
- Identify and eliminate manual, repetitive processes across the Business Data and Intelligence team and GTM stakeholders.
- Build automated workflows in Salesforce, Looker Studio, and adjacent tools to improve operational efficiency.
- Document automation logic and maintain operational runbooks for key recurring analytical processes.
- Own complex and ambiguous ad hoc requests, translating business questions into clear analytical frameworks.
- Communicate findings clearly in writing, through dashboards, and in live settings to diverse stakeholders.
- Serve as the escalation point for data quality and SFDC issues, investigating root causes and driving resolution.
- Establish and enforce data standards across reporting domains you own to ensure consistency and reliability.
- Ensure GTM KPI definitions are consistent, well documented, and aligned with business objectives.
Requirements
- 5-8 years in data analytics, business intelligence, or GTM/Revenue Operations, with meaningful experience at a startup or high growth SaaS company.
- Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously in an ambiguous, fast moving environment where priorities can shift quickly.
- Proven ownership of reporting across at least two GTM functions, such as Sales, Marketing, or Customer Success.
- Strong proficiency with data tools and platforms commonly used in revenue operations, including but not limited to Salesforce and Looker Studio.
- Experience building and maintaining dashboards that support executive decision making and operational reviews.
- Solid understanding of revenue metrics, funnel dynamics, and data quality best practices in a SaaS context.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex analytical concepts to non technical audiences.
- Comfort with SQL and data modeling concepts, even if your primary toolset includes point and click interfaces.
- A mindset focused on process improvement, automation, and continuous enhancement of reporting and data governance.
Nice to have
- Prior experience working in AI driven or high velocity technology environments where data informs rapid product and go to market decisions.
- Familiarity with modern data stacks that include cloud warehouses and orchestration tools relevant to analytics.
