About the role
Cresta is looking for an Enterprise Solutions Engineer to support its go-to-market team in delivering technical guidance to large enterprise customers. This role acts as a bridge between product capabilities and customer needs, helping prospects understand how the platform can address their sales challenges. The engineer will work closely with sales, customer success, and product teams throughout the customer lifecycle. You will be expected to translate business requirements into technical solutions and demonstrate the value of Cresta's AI-driven sales platform.

What you'll do
- Partner with sales representatives to understand enterprise customer pain points and technical requirements during the evaluation process.
- Conduct live product demonstrations and technical presentations that showcase Cresta's platform features and integrations for prospective buyers.
- Collaborate with the customer success team to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing support for enterprise accounts after the sale.
- Create and maintain technical documentation including solution briefs, architecture diagrams, and integration guides for customer-facing use cases.
- Work with the product team to relay customer feedback and feature requests that can influence the roadmap and development priorities.
- Support the pre-sales process by responding to technical questions from procurement teams and IT stakeholders at target accounts.
- Design tailored solution approaches that align Cresta's capabilities with each enterprise customer's unique sales workflow and technology stack.
- Participate in discovery calls and stakeholder meetings to identify opportunities where Cresta can deliver measurable value to the customer.
- Assist in building proof-of-concept environments that allow prospects to test Cresta's platform within their own data and infrastructure context.
- Coordinate with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during customer evaluations or early deployment phases.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field from an accredited institution.
- Several years of experience in a technical sales engineering, solutions architecture, or customer-facing technical role within enterprise software.
- Strong understanding of sales processes and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working with AI or machine learning platforms, particularly in the context of sales or customer engagement tools.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple enterprise accounts simultaneously while maintaining a high level of responsiveness and quality.
- Comfort with travel, as periodic on-site visits to customer locations or company offices may be part of the role expectations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and compelling technical materials for diverse audiences.
- A proactive mindset with the willingness to learn new products, technologies, and industry verticals as Cresta's platform evolves.
Nice to have
- Prior experience working specifically within the sales technology or revenue technology space, including familiarity with CRM and sales engagement platforms.
- Background in building or supporting integrations between enterprise systems such as Salesforce, Slack, or other commonly used business tools.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure providers and deployment models, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Previous involvement in pre-sales or post-sales roles at a venture-backed or high-growth technology company.
Skills & tools
- Proficiency with sales enablement platforms and customer relationship management systems used in enterprise environments.
- Experience with API integrations and understanding of how software platforms connect with third-party business applications.
- Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools that help customers understand platform performance and outcomes.
- Knowledge of software deployment models including cloud-native, hybrid, and on-premises architectures relevant to enterprise buyers.
- Ability to use collaboration and presentation tools effectively for remote demonstrations and stakeholder engagement.
- Understanding of security and compliance considerations that enterprise customers typically evaluate before adopting new software platforms.
