About the role
You will operate as a core intervention architect within Atlas Computing, owning the end to end scoping and validation of high impact interventions that address society scale AI risks. You will coordinate directly with domain experts and funders to translate ambiguous opportunity spaces into clearly defined intervention briefs and staffing plans. Each intervention you manage will be designed to be handed off to a dedicated career professional for execution, avoiding reliance on generic generalists. You will map context, surface coordination and market failures, and iteratively refine intervention pathways with stakeholders to ensure feasibility and sufficiency. You will work in tight collaboration with the cohort of Founders, aligning your intervention pipelines with their focus areas while maintaining independent ownership of the scoping process. You will simultaneously juggle multiple potential interventions, balancing priorities across AI infrastructure security and epistemic security domains. Your role is to convert ambiguous resilience challenges into concrete, staffable projects that can move from concept to implementation. You will validate each intervention against expert judgment and funding realities to ensure it is robust enough to warrant dedicated execution.

What you'll do
Identify and scope a portfolio of potential interventions that address critical AI resilience challenges across infrastructure security and epistemic security domains.
Conduct initial context mapping for each intervention, surfacing stakeholders, coordination failures, and systemic risks that justify external intervention.
Collaborate with domain experts to stress test intervention assumptions, validate technical feasibility, and refine implementation pathways.
Engage with funders and institutional partners to assess funding viability, stakeholder appetite, and the sufficiency of proposed interventions.
Design intervention briefs and product requirement documents that clearly articulate roles, responsibilities, and coordination mechanisms for future execution teams.

Requirements
Bring a demonstrated track record of executing on complex, career long initiatives in related fields, showing consistency over at least the past decade.
Possess deep experience in addressing coordination or market failures that intersect with technology, security, or public policy domains.
Showcase a portfolio of work that intersects with AI resilience, with particular emphasis on AI infrastructure security or epistemic security as described in the source material.
Demonstrate the ability to work independently while managing multiple simultaneous intervention scoping efforts and handoffs to execution teams.
