Senior Software Engineer at Conga.
About the role
Join the AI Platform team to design and build generative AI products for enterprise use. You will take ownership of complex features, guide architectural choices, and mentor other engineers to ensure production-ready, scalable systems.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and optimize generative AI solutions from data collection through model training and deployment.
- Influence technical architecture and lead code reviews to maintain high quality standards.
- Manage software through the full lifecycle, including testing, deployment, and maintenance in a DevOps model.
- Monitor system health using telemetry and performance metrics to resolve issues and drive reliability.
- Partner with product management to define features and mitigate technical risks.
- Mentor junior team members and document technical decisions for knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python, FastAPI, PyTest, and Celery.
- Experience with modern design patterns and building scalable, testable software.
- Background in the full AI/GenAI development lifecycle.
- Ability to perform root-cause analysis and implement preventive system measures.
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with advanced ML algorithms, transformers, or NLP.
- Experience with GenAI frameworks like LangChain or LangGraph and MLOps practices.
- Knowledge of SQL or NoSQL databases including MongoDB, MSSQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, or GCP tools such as VertexAI, BigQuery, GKE, GCS, DataFlow, and Kubeflow.
- Experience with Kafka messaging systems.
- Programming skills in C#, Java, or Scala.
