What you'll do

• Design and implement network architectures that meet the needs of various projects and clients, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain high availability and minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with software developers and system administrators to integrate network solutions with existing systems and applications.
• Conduct regular security assessments and implement necessary measures to protect network infrastructure from potential threats.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for network configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and compliance.
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members and clients regarding network-related inquiries and issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in network engineering or a similar role, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies.
• Experience with network hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers from leading vendors.
• Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools, as well as experience in troubleshooting complex network issues.
• Understanding of network security principles and best practices, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated and proactive.

Nice to have

• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Experience with cloud networking solutions and technologies, particularly in AWS or Azure environments.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation of network tasks.
• Knowledge of VoIP technologies and implementations.
• Previous experience in a DevOps or Agile environment is a plus.
