The Estimator, Sales Operations position is central to enhancing our sales quotation methodology. The role is responsible for converting complex technical inputs and promising leads into precise, clear, and commercially viable estimates. By working directly with architectural and technical drawings, the position develops comprehensive scopes of work. These documents must clearly outline assumptions, exclusions, and contingencies. The position acts as a critical link, ensuring a smooth transition from initial quote to signed order and subsequent handover to the Deployment team. This process is designed to reduce commercial and delivery risk throughout the lead-to-order cycle. Close cooperation with Engineering and Design teams is necessary to ensure technical requirements are thoroughly considered and accurately reflected in the quote.
About the Role
You will own the commercial trajectory for each deal. Your primary responsibility is to shape accurate estimates based on technical data and guide deals toward successful deployment. Your curiosity and structured approach will convert complex project briefs into clearly defined scopes. These scopes will protect profit margins and align client expectations. This position serves as a safeguard for revenue, ensuring every quotation is consistent with current capacity, defined exclusions, and client objectives.

Your Responsibilities
- Create intake checklists designed to identify all project boundaries before work commences.
- Develop detailed scope narratives that connect architectural drawings to specific material selections and exclusions.
- Analyze technical assumptions in relation to engineering limitations, identifying potential issues at the earliest stage.
- Lead quote refinement sessions that balance customer value against commercial sustainability.
- Produce estimates that are compatible with deployment capacity and schedule limitations.
- Ensure design solutions align with brand standards and are technically feasible.
- Collaborate with engineering to verify that hardware selections are suitable for the specific site constraints.
- Finalize handoff documentation to guarantee that deployment crews fully understand installation requirements.
Requirements
- Possess 3 to 5 years of estimating experience, ideally within technology or experience design sectors.
- Demonstrate hands-on knowledge of digital signage platforms and content management systems.
- Show proficiency in interpreting architectural drawings and translating them into defined work boundaries.
- Communicate effectively, capable of converting technical language into language accessible to clients.
- Prove a history of managing multiple opportunities while maintaining precision under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications
- Have experience working in quick service restaurant environments or other fast-paced commercial industries.
