What you'll do

• Conduct in-depth discovery sessions with technical stakeholders to map complex infrastructure landscapes and identify Cloudflare fit.
• Architect bespoke solutions by designing proof-of-concept implementations that validate platform capabilities for specific client hurdles.
• Translate intricate technical concepts into compelling narratives for executive leadership and detailed briefs for engineering teams.
• Orchestrate seamless onboarding journeys, acting as the central engineering resource to resolve implementation blockers efficiently.
• Analyze platform usage telemetry and engagement patterns to uncover expansion opportunities and drive platform adoption.
• Lead the preparation of Quarterly Business Reviews, constructing data-driven narratives that articulate ROI and strategic advancement.
• Partner with sales engineers to build persuasive technical narratives that support deal progression and stakeholder alignment.
• Leverage internal automation tools and AI-driven agents to eliminate manual overhead and accelerate solution delivery cycles.
• Serve as the technical authority during competitive assessments, outlining architectural differentiators against alternative providers.
• Mentor junior team members on solution best practices and communication techniques for high-stakes technical scenarios.
• Maintain current knowledge of threat landscapes and network protocols to ensure solution designs address current security vectors.
• Facilitate cross-functional alignment between product management and customer success to refine roadmap priorities.
• Document technical workflows and architectural diagrams to create reusable assets for future customer engagements.
• Evaluate new feature releases to determine applicability and rapidly prototype configurations that solve emerging client problems.

Requirements

• Hold a proven track record in customer-facing technical roles such as Solutions Engineering, Customer Engineering, or Sales Engineering.
• Demonstrate a broad technical understanding encompassing web security, networking principles like routing and DNS, DDoS mitigation strategies, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise architectures.
• Show a demonstrated ability to operate effectively within a revenue-aligned or quota-carrying capacity, possessing a solid grasp of SaaS metrics and enterprise sales processes.
• Exhibit excellent communication and presentation skills, with the capability to articulate sophisticated technical concepts to both technical and executive audiences.
• Possess strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to think critically under pressure to meet demanding customer expectations.
• Have experience working with distributed teams and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Bring a customer-obsessed mindset, with a genuine commitment to ensuring client success and satisfaction.
• Be comfortable with technology that may be subject to United States export regulations, understanding the implications for international work.

Nice to have
