This role is central to our technical go-to-market strategy, acting as a key technical advisor and partner to major enterprise clients. You will guide customers through their entire journey with Cloudflare, from initial engagement to long-term success and growth.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with Account Executives to conduct technical discovery, design tailored solutions, and present product capabilities through demonstrations and Proofs of Concepts.
• Oversee customer onboarding and implementation, serving as the main technical point of contact and ensuring rapid value realization.
• Manage technical aspects of customer relationships, including health monitoring, identifying integration challenges, and contributing to account expansion strategies.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the customer lifecycle, building deep relationships with key stakeholders.
• Utilize AI-powered tools to automate routine tasks, freeing up time for strategic customer engagement and architectural design.
• Contribute to commercial success by driving platform adoption, retaining revenue, and identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
• Lead technical Quarterly Business Reviews to articulate the business value and return on investment of Cloudflare's platform to executive leadership.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineering, Customer Engineering, or Sales Engineering.
• Broad technical knowledge encompassing web security, networking concepts like routing and DDoS mitigation, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise architecture.
• Demonstrated ability to operate in a revenue-aligned capacity, understanding SaaS metrics and enterprise sales processes.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical details into business strategy for C-suite audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience with Cloudflare's developer platform and AI offerings, including Workers AI, AI Gateway, and Vectorize.
• Practical knowledge of prompt engineering, Large Language Model (LLM) orchestration, or Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or JavaScript for building integrations and custom functions.
