About the role

This role involves acting as a primary technical advisor for major clients, guiding them through the entire lifecycle of Cloudflare solutions. You will be responsible for understanding customer needs, designing appropriate architectures, and ensuring successful adoption and expansion of services.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with sales teams to conduct technical evaluations, create custom solution designs, and present product capabilities through demonstrations and proof-of-concept projects.
• Oversee customer onboarding and implementation, serving as the main technical point of contact to drive value realization and resolve integration challenges.
• Manage a sales quota, focusing on acquiring new business and expanding existing accounts by ensuring deep platform integration and identifying opportunities for additional services.
• Build and maintain strong technical relationships with key client stakeholders, providing ongoing guidance from initial deployment through to renewal and growth.
• Utilize AI tools and internal platforms to automate repetitive tasks, such as responding to security questionnaires and managing basic system monitoring, freeing up time for strategic customer engagement.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a client-facing technical capacity, such as Solutions Engineering, Customer Engineering, or Sales Engineering.
• Comprehensive understanding of web security principles, networking concepts (including routing, DNS, and DDoS mitigation), cloud infrastructure, and enterprise architecture.
• Demonstrated success in a quota-driven or revenue-focused role, with knowledge of SaaS business metrics and enterprise sales processes.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of articulating complex technical details to executive leadership and translating them into business outcomes.

Nice to have

• Experience working with Cloudflare's developer platform and AI services, including Workers AI, AI Gateway, and Vectorize.
• Familiarity with prompt engineering, Large Language Model orchestration, or Retrieval-Augmented Generation architectures.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python or JavaScript for developing custom integrations and edge functions.
