Cloudflare is in the midst of a significant overhaul of its quote to cash processes, and we are looking for a strategic leader to guide this transformation. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the product lifecycle associated with billing and monetization, ensuring that there is a cohesive alignment between internal teams and external partners. As we continue to enhance our AI-driven product offerings, your leadership will be crucial in navigating this evolving landscape.

What you'll do
- Oversee critical products throughout the quote to cash lifecycle, with a focus on supporting monetization strategies for AI-related offerings.
- Collaborate closely with teams across Engineering, Finance, Revenue Operations, Business Intelligence, and external vendors such as Stripe and Salesforce to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
- Balance the immediate demands of product launches with long-term strategic initiatives, including the implementation of ERP systems and the migration of billing processes.
- Maintain clear and transparent product roadmaps while being adaptable to changing business needs and priorities.
- Engage with major clients to resolve billing issues and gather valuable feedback that can inform product improvements.
- Foster accountability within your team and among peer groups to ensure that delivery commitments are met consistently.
- Manage various domains such as invoicing, sales and opportunity management, credit and collections, pricing strategies, contract management, taxation, and business intelligence reporting.
- Analyze market trends and customer feedback to drive product enhancements and ensure competitiveness in the marketplace.
- Develop and implement best practices for product management within the billing domain, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that meet customer needs and drive business growth.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess product performance and inform future product strategies.
Requirements
- A solid history of delivering technology solutions specifically within the billing sector, demonstrating your ability to manage complex product lifecycles.
- Familiarity with SaaS financial reporting, compliance requirements, or best practices in fintech is essential.
- Experience in managing customer-facing products that involve global payments, tax regulations, checkout processes, and invoicing systems.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to lead projects from conception through to execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Nice to have
- Experience in delivering products at a rapid pace, akin to internet-native companies, is a plus.
- A technical background or fluency in engineering concepts that can help build rapport with development teams.
- Financial acumen to navigate intricate data and collaborate effectively with finance-related stakeholders.
- Knowledge of internet architecture, particularly at layers 2 through 7, would be advantageous.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and product management frameworks.
Skills & tools
- Proficient in using tools such as Stripe and Salesforce for payment processing and customer relationship management.
- Experience with ERP systems to manage enterprise resource planning and billing processes.
- Knowledge of business intelligence reporting tools to analyze data and generate insights.
- Strong understanding of product management tools and methodologies to streamline workflows.
