About the role

Cloudflare is seeking a GTM Engineer to support the rapid growth of the Cloudflare One segment. You will build AI-driven applications and systems that improve sales, marketing, and support operations while balancing custom development with existing toolsets. In this capacity, you own the end-to-end data integrity for the Deal Desk, ensuring that account and contact information remains accurate, enriched, and actionable across the revenue lifecycle. You are responsible for designing, building, and iterating on productivity workflows that accelerate deployment cycles and foster continuous improvement in how go-to-market teams operate. You will develop bespoke AI-powered solutions for scenarios where standard configurations and out-of-the-box tools prove insufficient to meet complex business demands. A core part of your ownership involves architecting systems with a long-term view, emphasizing modular design and maintainable code to prevent technical debt as the business scales. You will connect disparate third-party applications through APIs and webhooks, guaranteeing reliable and secure data synchronization between systems. Finally, you will maintain clear and up-to-date documentation for every tool, process, and integration you own, enabling other engineers and business stakeholders to understand and utilize the solutions you create.

What you'll do

• Architect and manage the data foundation for the Deal Desk, implementing rigorous standards for account and contact data quality and enrichment across all stages of the sales pipeline.
• Analyze existing workflows to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, then build and deploy productivity tools that reduce manual effort and accelerate deal progression.
• Evaluate business requirements to determine when custom AI solutions are necessary, developing these systems from concept to production where standard tools fail to deliver the needed capability.
• Design robust system architectures with a focus on scalability and maintainability, ensuring that new features and integrations can be added without disrupting existing operations.
• Implement and manage secure integrations via APIs and webhooks, enabling seamless data synchronization between Cloudflare platforms and external business tools.
• Write comprehensive technical and user documentation for all developed systems, providing clear guidance on functionality, maintenance, and troubleshooting for internal teams.
• Partner closely with sales and operations stakeholders to gather feedback on new tools, iterating on features to maximize user adoption and impact on revenue operations.
• Monitor the performance and reliability of automated workflows, diagnosing issues proactively and implementing fixes to uphold high standards of data integrity and system uptime.
• Evaluate the total cost of ownership for automation solutions, balancing the benefits of custom builds against the speed and simplicity of low-code alternatives.
• Mentor junior engineers and cross-functional collaborators on best practices for AI-driven development, fostering a culture of quality and innovation within the GTM technology team.

Requirements

• Bring a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in GTM Engineering, technical RevOps, or workflow automation, with a preference for backgrounds in AI-native B2B environments where technology directly supports revenue generation.
• Demonstrate expert knowledge of the Salesforce data model, including object relationships, record types, and reporting logic, along with hands-on experience building custom solutions directly within the Salesforce platform.
• Show active proficiency in using AI coding assistants for development, leveraging tools such as GitHub Copilot or similar platforms to enhance productivity and code quality.
• Prove a history of managing end-to-end AI and automation workflows, from initial requirements gathering through deployment and ongoing optimization.
• Exhibit a strong understanding of webhooks and API integrations, including best practices for authentication, error handling, and payload design.
• Possess the ability to determine when to utilize low-code solutions versus investing in custom builds, making sound judgments based on trade-offs in speed, maintainability, and scalability.
• Maintain a systems-oriented mindset, capable of writing modular, maintainable code that integrates cleanly with a larger technology ecosystem.
• Show high agency and a strong bias for action when operating in ambiguous environments, making timely decisions and adapting plans as new information emerges.
