Position Overview

You will be responsible for the overall health of multiple workstreams. This includes managing dependencies, risks, and resource allocation across federal customer initiatives. Work Location and Structure

The role is based in Herndon, Virginia, or Columbia, Maryland. A hybrid work model is available for this position. You must live within commuting distance of either location. Expect to be present in Columbia, Maryland, on a weekly basis.

In-person collaboration is required to support customer interactions. You should plan for travel to client facilities as needed. Reliable transportation is essential for fulfilling job requirements. This schedule ensures close alignment with partner organizations.

Compensation and Eligibility

The position offers a salary range of $183,000 to $210,000 annually. Pay is commensurate with experience and qualifications. This is a direct-hire position subject to eligibility requirements. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant factors.

Core Responsibilities

You will translate ambiguous requests into structured plans that drive results. This involves gathering input from diverse stakeholders and defining concrete objectives. Your work will ensure that all parties share a common understanding of scope.

Key duties include developing and maintaining detailed project plans. You will schedule tasks, allocate resources, and monitor progress against timelines. Budget oversight will be a critical component of your role.

You will coordinate with technical and operational teams to ensure alignment. This includes managing the deployment of software baselines into live environments. Adherence to change control procedures is mandatory.

Managing client expectations will be central to your work. You will act as a primary liaison for discussions regarding development and deployment. Clear communication will help maintain satisfaction and trust.

You will track project status and highlight potential issues before they escalate. Regular reporting will keep stakeholders informed of progress and risks. Documentation will capture decisions and rationale for future reference.

Required Qualifications

You must demonstrate an unwavering commitment to mission success in national security contexts. Experience working within IC and DoD frameworks is essential. You understand the sensitivity and rigor of these environments.

You need at least three years of project management experience. Your background should include leading efforts through full software development cycles. Proven delivery in complex settings is required.

A strong grasp of cloud infrastructure is necessary. You should understand data ingestion and transport mechanisms deeply. Specific knowledge of Kubernetes container orchestration is required.

Exceptional communication skills are non-negotiable. You must convey technical concepts to diverse audiences. Written and verbal clarity will drive alignment across teams.

You must live close to Columbia, Maryland, or Herndon, Virginia. The ability to travel weekly to Columbia is mandatory. Reliable transportation is required for additional visits.
