What you'll do
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, QA engineers, and fellow developers, to gather requirements and deliver effective software solutions.
- Maintain and enhance our cloud-based SaaS inventory management platform using .NET technologies, ensuring that all solutions align with business objectives and adhere to best practices in software development.
- Engage in full-stack development, working across application, database, and frontend layers as necessary. This includes implementing API-driven features, optimizing SQL queries, and making user interface adjustments using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Take responsibility for complex features and modules, providing technical leadership and mentoring to junior and mid-level developers to foster their growth.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure consistency, quality, maintainability, and performance, providing constructive feedback to improve the work of peers.
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and scalability issues to maintain optimal system performance in a cloud SaaS environment.
- Contribute to software quality by applying appropriate testing practices, including unit testing and integration testing, where applicable.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and best practices, integrating new tools and frameworks to enhance the development process and product quality.
- Mentor and coach junior and mid-level developers, promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the team.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 6 years of hands-on software development experience, with a strong focus on .NET technologies.
- Proficiency in C# and .NET technologies, including experience with .NET Framework, ASP.NET MVC, web applications, and APIs.
- Solid understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns, with practical experience applying them in real-world projects.
- Extensive experience with relational databases, particularly SQL Server, including skills in writing and optimizing SQL queries, working with stored procedures, triggers, and indexes, and troubleshooting database performance issues.
- A comprehensive understanding of web fundamentals, including HTTP, REST APIs, request/response lifecycle, and client-server communication.
- Familiarity with JavaScript, including DOM manipulation, event handling, form validation, and working with API responses.
- Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS, including semantic markup, page structure, and responsive design principles.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git, and familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to address complex technical challenges across various layers of the application.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative mindset when working in teams.

- Experience working on cloud-based SaaS products.
- Background in improving the performance, scalability, and reliability of production systems.
- Familiarity with automated testing practices, CI/CD pipelines, and secure coding practices.
- Previous experience mentoring engineers and promoting engineering best practices.
